Psts is a Pinterest post scheduler that helps you draft Pins and schedule compliant posts across multiple Pinterest accounts. Optional product discovery can add affiliate-ready links when you choose to use them. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
We collect the minimum data needed to run Psts:
- Account details such as email address and authentication data.
- Pinterest data such as account identifiers, boards, board sections, and access tokens required to publish and schedule Pins.
- If you enable product discovery, Amazon product data retrieved via the Product Advertising API, including titles, images, detail URLs, pricing, and sales rank signals.
- Usage data such as scheduling metadata, logs, and error reports to keep the service reliable.
How we use information
- Provide drafting, scheduling, and publishing features.
- Maintain compliance controls like affiliate disclosure defaults.
- Secure and troubleshoot the service, including rate-limit handling.
- Improve Psts based on aggregate usage and feedback.
Pinterest API data use
Psts uses the Pinterest API to connect your accounts, read boards, and publish Pins you schedule. Access tokens are stored securely and used only for the actions you authorize. You can revoke access at any time from your Pinterest account settings, and we will stop using the token after revocation.
Amazon Product Advertising API data use
If you enable product discovery, Psts uses the Amazon Product Advertising API to retrieve product details and images for drafting Pins. We display and store product information only to support your drafts and scheduled posts, keep the detail URLs intact for affiliate attribution, and refresh data periodically to reduce staleness.
Sharing and disclosure
We share data only as needed to operate the service:
- With Pinterest and Amazon when making authorized API requests.
- With infrastructure providers that host our application, database, and backups.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We retain data while your account is active to provide the service. If you disconnect a Pinterest account or delete your Psts account, we will remove associated access tokens and schedule data within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
We use encryption and standard security practices to protect access tokens and account data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
Your choices
You can request access to your data, ask us to delete your account, or revoke Pinterest authorization at any time. Email hello@psts.app for assistance.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and notify you through the product or email.
